At almost 5,000 sq ft, this luxurious 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath private estate comes complete with a chefs dream gourmet kitchen with Viking appliances, a greatroom with river rock wood burning fireplace, and soaring 24 ft windows with breathtaking mountain and valley views, a master suite with sitting area, and a master bath with both a soaking tub and a glass wall shower. Downstairs you will find a workout area with weights and a treadmill, as well as your own private soundproof movie theater, complete with a popcorn machine! When you enter Dreaming Bear Lodge, you will be blown away by the views from the soaring windows in the greatroom. The warm log accents and colorful river rocks tell you that you are in Montana. The first floor has the gourmet kitchen, breakfast nook (with small table that seats 2), dining room with table that seats 6, kitchen bar (with 3 barstools), laundry room with high end washer/dryer, greatroom with cathedral ceilings and log loft with television, two private bedrooms each with a walk-in closet, bath with tub and separate shower, and an additional guest powder room. There is also a large deck with barbecue grill and picnic table/chairs on this level. The lower level has an additional bedroom and bath, the workout room and the in-home theater. This level also connects to the deck and the hot tub, as well as to the lawn and camp fire area. The upper level has the master suite, sitting room and master bath. There is a two car garage and plenty of space in the circular driveway for additional uncovered parking. Although our driveway is paved, 4-wheel drive is required in the Winter. Outside, enjoy star gazing from a your private hot tub and deck overlooking the adjacent woods, or relax with a glass of wine while barbecuing on the upper deck. As our home and beautifully landscaped lawn is adjacent to several hundred wooded acres, we are blessed with an abundance of wildlife. White tail deer, elk, and even an occasional bear or moose visit Dreaming Bear Lodge. Summer days are spent hiking from the house on miles of trails connecting to Whitefish Mountain, horseback riding at an area ranch, exploring nearby Glacier National Park just 15 miles away, whitewater rafting, or taking a refreshing dip in Whitefish Lake, just 2 miles away. A waterski boat is available for an additional cost- just ask us for the details. Ziplining and racing on the Alpine Slide are also available a few miles away. During the winter months Montana is simply magical, as you step into a Currier and Ives postcard. After sledding, skiing, snowshoeing or sleigh riding, you will be warm and toasty with the glow of the fireplace, radiant heat floors throughout the lodge and snuggly down comforters on all beds.
